Arizona Bike Week, Donnie Smith Show, Biggest Loser and Big Ben

We are hitting the road again and this time we are sending out two Krews.  One to Arizona Bike Week and the Pre-Rally days at Chester’s HD and the other Krew to the Donnie Smith Show in St. Paul, MN.

Klock Werks will be set up at Chester’s HD for the Pre-Rally Biker Bash III (http://www.chestershd.com/custompage2.asp?pg=bikerbash).  We will be doing FREE FLARE Windshield installs and TRY IT before you BUY IT demo rides!

During Arizona Bike Week (April 1-5), we will be set up at  Westworld (http://www.azbikeweek.com/).  We will have the truck and trailer full of FLARE Windshields and Klock Werks apparel - so if you are not already Rockin’ the FLARE or sportin’ a Klock Werks Tee, stop by!  FREE FLARE installs and TRY it before you BUY it demo rides!

The other part of our Krew will be set up at the Donnie Smith Show (http://www.donniesmithbikeshow.com/) March 28-29 in St. Paul, MN.  They will have some bikes that are recent Klock Werks make-over creations - so be sure to look them up in you are there!

Four of the Klock Werks krew are taking the plunge and have thrown their names in the hat for Chris Callen’s Wickedest Biggest Loser Challenge.  Brian Klock, John Dean, Joe Mielke and Dave Sietsema have signed up to lose some weight, get healthy and be the “Wickedest Biggest Loser”.  Before picture below - yes, that is four grown men in Klock Werks’ ladies blue tank tops!!

Congrats to Ben Smith who is on the cover of American Cycle, May 2009 with his Heritage Softail.  It beautifully shows Klock Werks softail parts including the front fender and rear fender.

St. Patrick’s Day has Come and Gone, and Spring is Just Around the Corner

As the weather begins to warm-up and spring seems to be just around the corner (hopefully this is not a tease), the time has come to get your bike dusted off, engine tuned and prepare for the riding season.  To some (especially those of us that live in the midwest and have a shorter riding season than some others), we start to get really anxious this time of year and want to take advantage of any nice riding weather.  But unfortunately, there are many other things that suddenly top our to-do lists like spring cleaning, yard work and getting into swimsuit shapre…ok, so maybe the last one does not top the “to-do” list for everyone.  But remember to use your “nice weather” time wisely!!

Klock Werks will be at Arizona Bike Week and the Pre-Rally Days the weekend before.  They will be set up at Chester’s Harley Davidson, March 27-29, for the Backstage Biker Bash III (http://www.chestershd.com/).  The Krew will be doing FREE installs of the FLARE Windshield and as always, TRY it before you BUY it DEMO rides!!  If you are not already Rockin’ the Flare - you need to stop by and give one a try!

During Arizona Bike Week (April 1-5 http://www.azbikeweek.com/), the Krew will be set up at Westworld also doing FREE installs of the FLARE Windshield and TRY it before you BUY it DEMO rides.  We will also be handing out our NEW 2009 Catalogs and giving out tattoos and stickers!

The other part of the Krew will be heading to the Donnie Smith Show (http://www.donniesmithbikeshow.com/which) takes place at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota.

We would love to see you all - so please look us up on the road!

From Sunny Daytona to Snowy South Dakota

Back from sunny Daytona and enjoying a windy, snowy South Dakota day.  Daytona Bike Week was a successful event!  We were set up right outside of J&P Cycles and installed FLARE windshields into the night hours.  While attending Daytona Bike week, many people joined the “Rockin the FLARE” club!!  Thanks for everyone who stopped by to buy a windshield, demo a FLARE or just say Hi!

Check out “It’s a Family Affair: Father and Daughter Touring Duo” article (page 72) in American Bagger, April 2009.  This is a great article about our friend, Bernie Maxwell and his daughter, Manti Lehn.  And there are many Klock Werks parts on their bikes.  Thanks to Bernie and Manti for Rockin the FLARE!

While you are there, check out the tech article on our Sameole Handlebars (page 50).  The Sameole bars are the same ole ones you have - only better!!

Also in American Bagger (April 2009), Tex Appeal (page 102) showing off many Klock Werks parts, Mean Green (page 58) with the Klock Werks front fender, John and Luauna showing off our western wear at Cincinatti (page 12), Klock Werks’ Lucky 14 bike in the Dennis Kirk ad (page 13) and our new exhaust featured in the Exhaust Buyer’s Guide!

Klock Werks will be at Arizona Bike Week.  We will be set up at Chester’s Harley Davidson for the Backstage Biker Bash III Pre-Rally Party March 27-29 and then set up at Westworld on April 1-5.  We will be doing FREE installs of our FLARE Windshield and of course, you can TRY it before you BUY it!!
